Sunday, the Fabregas-to-Barca bandwagon moved further, the wires and websites suddenly buzzing with quotes from Gerard Pique. The former Manchester United defender said to the Daily Star that he'd love to see Cesc in a Barca shirt next season.
It would've been more newsworthy if he HADN'T loved Cesc in a Barca shirt, of course, but that's a separate point...
What I found interesting was that a simple search of "Pique" on http://www.dailystar.co.uk/ only gave four results. In one of the pages, Gerard Pique says he'd love to see Cesc in a Barca shirt, indeed he does.
But the article isn't from yesterday. It's from 6 September last year...
So learn this, dear reader. If there aren't any news to be printed, old news will do. And if there aren't any old news, any old non-news will do as well.

Going the rounds
Silly Season can be really silly.
I must admit that I had no other reason than to start collecting Arsenal transfer rumours on March 24 than just deciding to do so. Besides, rumours tend to come back, and back again, depending on the supply of real news available to tabloid and website journalists.
The very first rumour here, where they are all sorted chronologically, was Marouane Chamakh. (He's already been signed, of course.) The second was Eden Hazard of Lille. He's suddenly been linked with Arsenal again today, more than two months since I first picked it up.
The third name was Loïc Remy, the Nice striker. Lo and behold, linked with Arsenal again as late as the day before yesterday.
Is July going to be the start of a "Rerun" Silly Season?!
