Jenkinson is a versatile player who is able to play as a full-back, a centre-back and also as a holding midfielder, Mike Harvey of Arsenal Insider writes.
At 19, Jenkinson will join the First team or the Reserves squad, and his transfer is likely to be confirmed in public. Signings of players under 18 are never published on arsenal.com, as last summer's signing of Kyle Ebecilio demonstrated.
