Even though this blog has been set up to mock the endless speculations, guesses and lies of the English media, I let other countries in on occasion. Tonight, it's the French.
Canal+ of France has got the public there buzzing about French international defender Sebastién Squillaci and his impending transfer from Sevilla of La Liga to Arsenal.
These TV news people have enough respect in France for magazines like Le 10 Sport and France Football to quote them on their websites. The juicy bit is the fact that Squillaci, who won his last cap so far against Norway last week, has been pulled off Sevilla's squad for tonight's Champions League qualifier.
So, which of the English tabloids, broadsheets and websites will NOT be writing up the Frenchman tomorrow morning? Wait and see.
