Every day, the Daily Mail website presents the feature 'What the back pages say'. Today's effort gives us the opportunity to watch different angles of the same Cesc Fabregas story.

Arsene Wenger expects to see Cesc Fabregas in an Arsenal shirt on Saturday. (Daily Mirror) Now, that's non-committal for you. Five or six days isn't much of a horizon.
Arsene Wenger will return to his desk after Arsenal's tour of Asia and make a swift resolution of the Cesc Fabregas saga a priority, with the manager hopeful the captain could return to the club colours in the friendly at FC Cologne on Saturday. (The Guardian) Long winded, and not very concrete.
Back from the fresh and exotic experience of their tour to the Far East, Arsenal's focus now turn to an old and familiar question: the future of Cesc Fabregas. (The Times) Seeing as today brought the official confirmation of Gervinho's signing and the news of Denilson's loan move, that may not be the whole truth. But at least it's possible to enjoy the imagery.
Add to all this the story from the Daily Star's website: the headline is unusually clear, 'Cesc Fabregas stays at Arsenal'. But the story is the same as in the Sun: the paper 'understands' that Barcelona must show £40m before the end of the month to get the deal done. So he might not stay after all...?
Finally, just a quote from this last story from the manager himself:
“The problem is we face speculation from everywhere but my target is the same, to keep the players, and my desire to fight for that is the same.”
Arsenal's problem with the speculation is a problem for the fans as well! We have no way of knowing just what's going on, and sensationalist headlines with unquoted (and therefore dodgy) sources are no help.
