A start

The first time I compiled a list over Arsenal transfer targets in the media was in 1996, I think. The list grew to almost 90 players all linked with Arsenal during a summer of Euro 96 in England and managerial upheaval at Highbury.

I got to publish the compilation on arseweb.com, the now hibernating original Arsenal fan site set up by Rupert Ward in London.

But this summer, I aim to collect it all here - not all the wild, unsubstantiated blog ramblings, but the wild, unsubstantiated media ramblings. That should suffice.
